It's basically the 'Madame Cholet' song of that Wombles album stretched to the length of a pop career, isn't it?Yes, I know Mike Batt, Wombles, whatever - it's not an original observation. But considering that was about thirty years ago, you'd think he'd have had time to a whole new song. Either that or he's found a very clever way of worming into the subconcious of those of a certain age...

Did they? If it was a charity for the deaf it would have been nicely poetic.
